As you know, pastors lead churches. The guidance and leadership of the church has been placed in the hands of Godly pastors.

 

However, there are some things a pastor is not; he’s not perfect, and without sin.  Neither is he Lord over God’s people, nor is he all-wise.  A pastor is compassionate, kind, and caring.

 

Ezekiel, an Old Testament prophet, described the pastor-shepherd as one who offers leadership to the people, searches for them when they go astray, and ministers to them when they are hurting.  A pastor can listen to problems and provide an independent perspective. Secondly, a pastor can offer solid spiritual guidance and biblical direction.
